Welcome food lovers!

My names is William and I'm a guy who just loves food.

I enjoy dishes from across the world, Mexico to China, Britain to Greece, though my speciality is baking. I enjoy big, homely flavours and try and infuse this into my cooking.

I am a huge fan of experimentation and am constantly learning new flavour combinations and techniques. That does mean that little of the food on my blog is especially "authentic" - I prefer to take authentic and use it as a base to make something fresh and exciting.

This blog also features a range of eatery and book reviews. I am a bit of a book addict and feel recipe books are such wonders, keys to whole worlds of flavour and discovery. I like to eat out when I can and my reviews are intended to show which places are really worth going to and what's good about them.

Outside of food, I adore history, reading, myth and fantasy, Marvel comics, heavy metal and some branches of folk music, especially neo-medieval folk. If you dig any of those things, your awesome and we should definitely talk. If you don't,  then let's just share our love of good food, good drink and good company!
